The intangibles

  • Disconnect to reconnect

There’s nothing quite like creating something with your own hands. It can be restful and energizing all at the same time.

  • Fuel your creativity

At Commune we want to play and experiment to discover something new. Perfection is not the point. Get weird with it.

  • Appreciate the process

We use this time to slow down and take a closer look at everyday objects. Join us as we break things down to build them back up.

  • Find your community

A great excuse to reconnect with a friend or make a new one. Come as your are. We’ll take care of the rest. ♥︎

We’ve intentionally curated a series so each workshop connects to the next, cultivating a creative ecosystem where nothing stands alone and everything supports one another.

You’ll craft a ceramic vessel in one session, then return in a later workshop to pour your own candle into the piece you made.

The seeded paper you create can be planted to grow flowers — flowers you can later press and mount onto handmade paper, bringing your work beautifully full circle.

Your linocut carving won’t just live on its own; you can use it to stamp and decorate your clay pieces or embellish your handmade paper.

Each workshop builds on the last, encouraging a thoughtful, sustainable, and circular approach to making.

One other core reason we offer our workshops as a series instead of a standalone is our community. We want to have shared experiences where relationships can build over time and carry on outside of the studio ♥︎
